Episode 3-46[]

Season 3 Episode 46: Your Seven Years (1)

At her home in Mistyshore, Rana heals her injured sons, insisting that they play more safely. They retort that the half started the fight, saying that their parents sinned against their own parents before their relationship. As Rana tells them that it is a bunch of nonsense, Anne peeks into the room to tell her mother that Rimi made a mess in the room, and that recovery spells have no effect. Rana decides that it must be at its optimal state and tells her to leave it. Anne protests and says she needs to work on her assignment, so Rana sends her to her great-aunt Eline's lab. Someone arrives with a letter from Ran in Kalibloom, and Rana wonders why he is even there.

Ran and Leez discuss how to explain things to Rana, while Kaz and Shess awkwardly look on. They then talk about Agwen, Kasak, and Yuta, at which point Leez wants to change the subject. She turns to Kaz and asks him about his life since Atera, mentioning that she heard from Teo that he survived because he was out buying her a birthday present. Kaz suddenly remembers his abandoned pet, and asks Shess to help him find it. As they walk away, Leez asks Ran not to tell Kaz about her short lifespan. Ran suggests that she ask Claude about her date of death so she can prepare for it, and she remembers that she still had one question left that she could ask him.[1][2]

In Rindhallow, Airi looks over her unconscious brother. Mao tells her that Chandra dropped by earlier and told them to insure that everything is ready when he awakens. She then adds that Claude had some paperwork to give her. Airi pulls out a few pages and sees the words, "A body revived with hoti visnu contains a different soul."

Episode 3-47[]

Season 3 Episode 47: Your Seven Years (2)

In Rindhallow, after Airi finishes reading the documents, she tells Mao that she needs to go to Kalibloom and talk to Teo in person, and asks her to look after her brother.

In a flashback, a young Claude lies trapped under stone slab amongst some rubble. A hooded figure and Eline Haias approach him, and Claude tells them to save someone else since his life will come to and end soon, regardless, unlike his deceased sister, who should have lived for many years to come. Eline explains to the hooded figure that his sister died in an accident five years ago, and Claude had requested that she revive her. Claude adds that he could not afford it. The hooded figure reveals that those who were resurrected were not their true selves, anyway, and since Eline knew this, she only reluctantly used the spell. The hooded figure goes on to explain that in the past, a soul that died before the end of its set lifespan would remain in the human realm until its name was processed, and hoti vishnu could return the soul to its revived body. But thanks to a certain nastika who destroyed those souls, the gods changed the rules so that souls go immediately to the underworld upon death, where even Vishnu's powers cannot reach. Eline adds that most of the top-ranked magicians already know of this. Claude questions the fact that revived humans are different since their memories and habits from before are the same. The hooded figure says that those things are part of the body, but the soul is energy that allows the body to function with consciousness. He continues to say that this is the way of the current humans, but there were humans in the past who no longer exist whose souls also housed their memories. As far as Claude is concerned, it makes no difference, and argues that it is the body that makes the person, and he would love a revived person just the same as before. The hooded figure decides to revive his older sister at the age a day before her accident, which would make her his younger sister, and forbids him from telling anyone else about this. They will claim that Eline revived the girl, that the accident happened today, and anyone who knows of her will need to coordinate their cover stories. When Claude asks Eline to take care of his sister since he is dying, the hooded figure tells him to take care of her himself, and extends his lifespan to 200 years, within which time the boy will repay him.

Airi, who now knows the truth, is concerned about Teo, and believes that she needs to be given the opportunity to choose before it is too late. Chandra appears behind her and asks her if she is leaving so soon after all the trouble he went through to bring her to see her brother. He then uses Insight on her and agrees to take her back to Kalibloom with him and Laila, who reminds him of Lutz's warning that people with high transcendental values should stay away from that city. Chandra replies that it makes no difference with two 5th-zen gods already in the city. He then decides to send out an official letter to those who did not leave for Kalibloom to tell them to stay where they are, since he has already chosen someone to undergo the experiment—a human who can regenerate upon death.

In Kalibloom, as Leez sits in a booth reading a physics textbook while Kasak sleeps next to her, Siera approaches her and suggests that she remove her bracelet before Chandra returns.

Episode 3-48[]

Season 3 Episode 48: Your Seven Years (3)

Leez is surprised by Siera's request for her to return the bracelet. He explains that the bracelet will cause her to be dragged into a very painful and deadly task. When Leez assures him that it would not be a problem, he decides that asking nicely will not work, so he then explains that the bracelet is the property of the Priest of Earth and he wants it back now.

Clari bursts into Teo's office, alarmed by the rumors that someone is claiming to be Rao's daughter, and asks if it is really the kid named Leez who pulled the Sword of Return. She remembered seeing her during the Test of the Sword and scoffing at the idea that she resembled Rao.[3] Teo remarks that not only has the girl's face changed, but her physique as well. Clari wonders if she took some kind of drug in the sura realm, and also wonders how it is possible for Rao to have a daughter with the rumors of him being uninterested in women. She is also confused by the fact that the girl's mother is Anna, who was already dead by that time. Teo asks her if she thinks she is an imposter, and Clari tells her that she does. Teo cautions her not to spread negative rumors, since they will need her in the near future, and they do not want to risk driving her away along with her god-level items. Elwin arrives with a message from Airi asking to meet with Teo, but Teo refuses because she is not the "real" Airi.

As Ran watches Leez from a nearby building, he laments that she is still with Mr. Kasak. He then hears a pair of halfs nearby, discussing the rumor that the girl is an impersonator after Rao's wealth. Ran panics and hides around the corner to avoid them, only to be frightened by Chandra's sudden appearance. The god asks him how he got here from Mistyshore so quickly, and he replies that he came with Shess. Laila realizes that Agwen had told Ran about Shess's identity. After Chandra tells the halfs to scram, Ran asks him shy he summoned everyone. Chandra blurts out that it is for an experiment where he will die if it fails. When Ran starts to panic again, Chandra explains that the plan has changed, and they can put the burden on a single person. Siera arrives, stating that he brought the bracelet. Chandra is pleased, since it would be easier to kill him than the kid who wields the Sword of Return. He announces that they will begin on the dawn of the Day of Chaos.

Episode 3-49[]

Season 3 Episode 49: Your Seven Years (4)

In front of the Kalibloom Fighters Guild, as Clari looks on, Teo asks if Airi has left. Elwin replies that she did, but she left a message. Teo is relieved, until she reads it. In the message, Airi asks if she remembers Claude's older sister, then asks her to meet with her alone at the Lake of Reflection on the Day of Chaos, at dawn. Parr notices the look on Teo's face, and asks her about the message. Teo downplays it, then asks Elwin if she has seen Kaz. Her daughter replies that she passed both him and Shess on her way here.

Outside of the Temple of Chaos, in the snow, Shess suggests that they give up looking for Kaz's pet, but Kaz insists that they keep looking. Shess asks him if he is trying to avoid that girl, since he looked uncomfortable around her, particularly since this is the first time they have seen each other in years. Kaz cryptically replies that she should have died in the red sky incident that destroyed their village. He thought she did, and was content that she was resting in peace. But when he arrived in Kalibloom to become a priest candidate, he not only learned that she was still alive, but that she drew the Sword of Return and then vanished in N16. He knew she was still alive since the sword had not returned to the temple, and he despaired. He prayed for her death, but in the end, the gods are not on her side.

As Leez stands on a precipice on the wall of the Temple of Earth, she remarks that it feels odd to be no longer wearing the bracelet, but that she is fine fighting without it since she has already mastered all of the sword's transcendentals. Kasak advises her to step away from the edge since there is no bracelet to save her if she falls 9,050 meters down. Leez counters that he is the one who needs to be more careful, since he is always falling asleep and might fall off the edge himself. After they give each other a look, she asks him how much time he has left, since he is sleeping up to 80% of the day now. He replies that it is not her business, and that his role will be completed before then. She then asks him if he is going to see his daughter at all, but he is convinced that there is no point since nothing will change between them.

In Mistyshore, Agwen reads a letter from Ran that was sent to Rana, who tells Agwen that she is about to leave for Kalibloom. She adds that Eline will look after the children, and that she has hired as many wind magicians as she could. Agwen asks if she could accompany her, and Rana reveals that she was expecting her to ask.

At the Temple of Chaos, Teo notes that the probability of the Lake of Reflection showing one's true form is the highest on the Day of Chaos. She assumes that Airi intends to show her her reflection, and wonders why she is doing this now when she was quiet about it for many years. Teo then spots Siera entering the temple, and wonders what he is up to since he had not informed her of his visit.

Episode 3-50[]

Season 3 Episode 50: Your Seven Years (5)

At the Lake of Reflection, Airi addresses Teo.

Chandra greets Siera once he arrives, and states that they are waiting for someone else to arrive who will help Siera out.

Shess looks in on a sleeping Kaz as he thinks that he needs to talk to the gods about Maruna soon, preferably Chandra since Agni would be more difficult. Agni suddenly appears on the balcony, looking and behaving like a teenager and explaining that this form should be less intimidating for him. Shess avoids eye contact at first, but Agni reassures him that Insight does not work on him because he is as old as the universe. Agni then brings up the fact that they both have favors to ask of each other. Agni asks him if he has a transcendental skill that restores vigor and strength. Shess replies that it is not true recovery, but simply transferring his own vigor and strength to the subject, which is not very efficient. Agni says it would be used on a human with slow vigor recovery to prevent him from dying while performing his task. Shess is incredulous that he is asking a rakshasa for a favor just to save one human, and offering to return the favor, and states that he understands why he is considered an outsider among the gods.

Airi thanks Teo for meeting with her. Teo responds that she just wants to hear the truth and to cut the chit chat. Airi asks her if she thinks she deceived her. Teo thinks back to the time when her friend who was dead for five years was suddenly alive again, and everyone pretended everything was normal, including Agwen and Eline. She had wondered if she was crazy or if something used a spell on everyone. Teo then tells Airi that since she wrote "the girl who was Claude's older sister", it means that she was not crazy after all. Airi confesses that they were secretly friends back then, so nobody knew and so Teo never learned the truth, making the situation just a misunderstanding. Teo, in disbelief, says that if she is so confident, she should come closer so that her reflection in the lake can clear everything up. Airi asks her if nobody has seen her reflection in the seven years since she was resurrected with hoti visnu, and Teo responds that it is not likely. Airi states that this is the reason Teo does not know as well, and asks if she never had any doubts about herself in the last seven years. Teo counters that Airi is the one who needs to reveal her true face. Airi points out that their situations are alike since they were both resurrected, but Teo denies being like her, since her own resurrection was normal, and Airi's was impossible, so she must be an imposter. Airi states that it is a pity Teo is unable to see her own reflection, because it is something she needs to see. She then explains that the soul of a deceased human goes immediately to the underworld, so the soul of a resurrected body has to come from somewhere else—in other words, from something deceased but not human. Airi can see that Teo's reflection is that of a Taraka sura.

Episode 3-51[]

Season 3 Episode 51: Your Seven Years (6)

As Kasak sleeps in his bed face-down, Leez stands at the balcony. She recalls their earlier conversation, when he told her that she has a bad habit of jumping head-first into danger, ignoring her own safety, and now that she no longer has the bracelet, she is at risk of dying. In the present, Leez notes that she has less strength without the bracelet, she is unable to regenerate, and she is unable to use magic because of her divine affinity of zero.

At the Temple of Chaos, in the room with the fragments pool, Agni and Shess arrive. Chandra bickers with Agni and Laila for a bit as Agni introduces Shess, who will help Siera recover his vigor. Siera recognizes Shess as a participant in the N19 Fighter Championship, and Agni admits that the event was rigged. Agni asks Siera if Chandra already explained the experiment to him, and he replies that his first task is using the fragments to enter the Taraka clan's mental world. His second task is to locate the nearest node, and the final task is to subdue the node to weaken the Tarakas. Chandra corrects him, saying that it is the third task, not the last, since the final task is to use the results of the experiment to eventually subdue all the nodes. Agni states that his goal is to fight back in order to maintain control of himself and not act like one of them, and if he does lose control, Shess will ensure that he has some vigor left before the gods kill him so that he can use the bracelet to regenerate. Agni then warns him that he will feel extreme mental pain, not physical pain, and learns from insight that Siera does not truly want to do this, but is volunteering out of both duty and compassion for a hero's daughter. When Agni tells him that it is okay if he gives up, Chandra argues that it means that someone else will have to suffer, and tosses a handful of fragments into the pool.

Siera finds himself in a place where everything is white, feeling confused and wondering if this is the right place. When he spots something in the distance, he approaches it, and when he gets closer it appears to be a half or a superior sura. Once he is close, the figure, which looks like Shakuntala, turns towards him and he begins to struggle.

Chandra seems to think that it began rather quickly, and considers it a failure until Agni points out that Siera, crouched on the ground, is still fighting. A pool of water begins to form on the ground around him.

At the Temple of Earth, Gandharva senses something strange yet familiar.

At the Lake of Reflection, Airi and Teo notice that the air has become damp and that something feels wrong. They then hear a loud boom, and large tentacles burst from a wall.

Maruna, in the snows of the upper level, notices the commotion at the Temple of Chaos in the distance.

Episode 3-52[]

Season 3 Episode 52: Your Seven Years (7)

Maruna, still waiting outside Kalibloom, notes that the Chaos barrier is down. He wonders if the Taraka clan is responsible and considers leaving, but he is also concerned that Shess, his only link to the gods, may need his help. Sagara appears behind him, telling him not to go to the city.

Sagara learns that she was gone for seven years, and ask if he ever thought about her even once during that time. Maruna realizes that he had not, and asks her if she ever gave any thought to the Garuda clan as she was about to reach her goal seven years ago. He recounts that as Samphati was attacked by the gods she was distracting, no one from the Ananta clan offered any aid. He alone tried to protect her and she was never seen again since. He tells Sagara that he recently went to the sura realm and she was not there, either. As he is about to tell her off, he notices some activity going on in the upper level of the city. Maruna becomes worried that the gods will see him with Sagara and he will lose his opportunity to use the Eye of Perishment, and considers attacking her. However, Sagara shocks Maruna with the revelation that she often saw Samphati during the past seven years.

Meanwhile, back in the city, the results of an experiment went wrong wrecks havoc. While leaping to safety with Laila Hemawati in his arms, the baffled Chandra remarks on the unexpected turn of events. On the ground reveals the results of the experimental subject, a pureblood human who has taken a sura form. And of all the sura clans, it is a sura from the Taraka clan with its eyes open.

Agni says they are unlucky, and theorizes there may be an unusually strong Taraka clan closest to the major node. Agni explains the strength of a Taraka's eyes is normally as strong as the Taraka itself and reports most of his transcendentals are nullified. The god of darkness complains about Agni's fortune, but Agni reminds him not to waste precious time fuming and orders him to deactivate the turrets located in the Earth temple.

The god of fire then orders Shess who was on standby, to transform into his sura form as soon as the turrets deactivate. The god reasons the Taraka sura may have its close combat skill comparable to a fourth or fifth stage rakshasa and Shess's sura form will even the fighting field. The Kinnara sura questions Agni on his next action, and Agni replies he will attack it and will try not to injure the Earth priest if possible.

Agni activated his Paradisial Flare transcendental, but the target remains unhurt much to his surprise.

Shess questions if the transcendental skill used is Paradisial Fire and says it will not be effective. He reveals his knowledge about the transcendental skill— it multiplies its damage(s) depending on the number of murders committed by the attacked. On the same note, he states Siera Sies could not use silent magic at all. However, Agni further elaborates his transcendental skill should work if the sura has killed humans in the past. The god and the Kinnara sura correctly judge the sura has not killed any humans before based on its uninjured state after the attack.

Shess theorizes Agni's attack may not be effective since Sierra is acting as a conduit for the Taraka sura, but states that a sura who is third stage or above should have killed humans if they were obeying orders. Agni then contemplates what if the sura's situation was not in a position to receive such orders or have overprotective guardians. But, the Kinnara sura argues there should be no rakshasa under these positions unless it was Shakuntala. When Shess suddenly gain an epiphany about their possible sura, he voices his disbelief as they look at the sura closely, and quickly notice Shakuntala's signature appendages with her colors on the sura's tail.

Agni agrees with Shess's epiphany and decides to show Gandharva about their current enemy sura. In addition, he asks Shess to fight the Taraka sura while he retrieves Gandharva. The Kinnara sura grudgingly accepts his new task and muses on the small favor he had readily agreed for the god of fire. Agni nonchalantly tells Shess to state his request, which will be done first as he feels guilty about the agreement.

Shess looks stupefy at the god's casual admission of guilt. Regaining his composure, he asks the god if he knows about the Garuda clan's trouble, which the god reveals he had known it from Leez. Shess further explains the Garuda clan's hope of survival was reliant on a the god-level item. Agni asks if the item was for the Kinnara sura's use, and Shess instead clarifies the son of Garuda is the one who requires it.

Meanwhile, outside of Kalibloom, Sagara tells Maruna about her preparations in a certain location. She says she is lucky to come back first and there is still time. She advises Maruna to not throw away his pride just to rely on the gods or humans to survive and mocks his current situation when he looks similar to his father. She ponders about Samphati's reaction if she sees him now. The Garuda sura states it was Akasha's order to use the Eye of Perishment for himself, and her will is also obeyed by Samphati.

Sagara declares Akasha's judgement was misplaced.

Under Maruna's questioning gaze, she asks Maruna to think about the circumstances surrounding Akasha's 'misjudged' order. She states the cooperation of Maruna and Samphati was at Akasha's behest and divulges the true reasons behind their cooperation outside of Akasha's instruction— Maruna wished to find the whereabouts of Kalavinka through him — and Samphati wanted to know her 'secret trick' for succeeding the throne.

Maruna looks surprised to receive the knowledge of Samphati having her own reason for helping seven years ago.

Sagara continues, concluding neither of the Garuda suras had achieved their goals which leads to the Garuda clan earning nothing from cooperating with the Ananta clan. However, the current situation forces Akasha to have those two goals to be achieved more than before. Sagara then muses about the strange circumstances of Akasha's order and tells Maruna that Akasha had forgotten about her existence, just as he had earlier. Due to this reason, Sagara confidently says Akasha had lost sight of her previous goals, thus, giving Maruna the wrong orders.

In the end of her speech, she asks Maruna if he was still desperate to use the god-level item.

Although she did not receive an answer from Maruna, she tells him she would not force his hand, and offers Maruna to come to the designated location if he was interested. She states she intends to gather her scattered forces. Before she leaves, she gives Maruna a warning to not go to Kalibloom because a certain pink flame will kill him as soon as he touch it.
