It's not easy, volunteering to suffer in someone's stead. Whether it's because of your duty as a priest, or your desire to protect the daughter of a hero, or just pure compassion.

Agni to Siera before the fragment experiment [1]
I think there's something not quite right about magicians who can talk so emotionlessly about something so tragic.

– Siera talking about silent magic magicians [2]

Siera Sies is the current Priest of Earth in Kalibloom. He is a cousin of Lorraine Rartia.[3]

Appearance[]

Siera looks as though he is in his teens, when in fact, he is already in his early thirties. He has tan skin, golden eyes, and long dark-brown straight hair. He wears his hair in a loose ponytail, often tossed over his left shoulder. His weight is very low considering his height; his cousin Lorraine often mocks him by calling him a skeleton or an anchovy. Sierra's mismatched hair and eye color is atypical for a pure-blood human, who generally have the same color.

Siera wears magician clothes from the Divine series of the brand Hella. [4] His outfit consists of a dark brown long sleeve shirt with a light brown turtleneck, light brown loose pants, and a dark brown cloak trimmed with light brown fur. He also wears neck ornaments and carries a tree branch with golden brown leaves.

In season 3, Siera is 39 years old, and his physical appearance has come to reflect his age. [5] He also gained muscle mass due to his training to be a fighter. [6]

He currently wears a light-brown long-sleeved shirt with a turtleneck, dark grey-blue pants, and a robe matching the pants draped over his right arm. The robe has a red cuff and a red belt. He ties his hair in a ponytail. His clothes have a storage function. [7]

Personality[]

Siera is solemn, honorable, humble, and completely committed to his Priest job. He is also very kind and truthful and does not use silent magic. [2] Siera can be stubborn too, but he concedes if someone he respects asks him to do something. [8] [9] He is willing to break a promise to prevent someone else from suffering. [10] As a Priest, Siera would have unwavering faith in the gods. Nevertheless, he starts to harbor doubts within season 3.

His cousin Lorraine does not respect him much, she often mocks his looks, and she will only return the Golden Knight to him, if he pays a high price for it, even though it is rightfully his. [11] Siera gets irritated with Claude, who slacks off from his priestly duties as much as possible. [8] [12]

However, during season 3, Siera suffered an extreme change of personality. His experience with the fragment experiment [13] has made him somewhat cynical and nihilistic. He is now stoic, and he only speaks or acts to manipulate someone. [14] [15] [16]. His opinion about being a priest drastically changed to the point of abandoning his position. [14] He can now probably use silent magic. [17]

Skills and Abilities[]

Being a triple-Kubera magician, Siera is strong with both hoti kubera and bhavati kubera.

Considering his triple attributes with magic ranking #10 as of his introduction, he is surprisingly impractical at fighting. Apart from the Magic Test center, nobody ever saw him fight; he never even participated in any of the Fighter Championships until N19.[18] He also neglects to exercise.

He has a very high divine affinity, and significant vigor for a pureblood human, but he's the type that has difficulty recovering vigor since he's always frowning. He's slightly better at maintaining the barrier than the other priest candidates, without the vigor-draining Golden Knight normally worn by the Priests of Earth.

Notes[]

  • Many readers thought he was female, which Currygom didn't expect.[19]
  • Sierra in Spanish means "mountains." It is unknown if this is the basis for Siera's name, but it seems fitting for a Priest of Earth.
  • Siera participated in the N19 fighters championship where he lost against Teo Rakan (he took 64th place). He planted his tree staff into the ground when he resolved to become a fighter after his loss. [20].

History[]

2-017 The Earth Barrier is gone

The Earth Barrier is gone

Siera comes from a wealthy family and he is the cousin of Lorraine Rartia. He is the Priest of Earth and one of the strongest magicians on Willarv. Siera loves to work at the Temple of Earth with its remote location at the top of a 9km mountain. He feels comfortable spending his days contemplating the view and losing track of time. [3]

When Siera became the Priest of Earth, he used to wear the Golden Knight, until on one occasion, the item drained all his vigor causing the earth barrier to disappear. He then took it off which resulted in the bracelet getting stolen from the Temple. Years later, Lorraine bought the bracelet from an antique shop for two hundred gold, and she will only return it to Siera if he pays her one hundred thousand gold, which he refuses to do until his retirement when it will be time to pass on his duties to a new priest. [11]

Season 1[]

Chapter 2: The Queen and the Bum[]

(1) Siera is one of the three figures seen as Brilith explains that magicians are humans capable of borrowing power from the gods. The three figures from left to right are Siera Sies, Lutz Sairofe, and Mirha Simon.

Chapter 5: The Golden Knight[]

(4) A pair of thieves, Eria and Rad, have "accidentally" stolen the Golden Knight bracelet, an item they don't know how to use, and are discussing selling it back to Siera for a steep price.

(6) If the knowledge on how to take off the bracelet was past down correctly to each succeeding Priest of Earth, Kubera briefs Leez that Siera would be the only one with knowledge to help her. However, he's in Kalibloom, 20 kilometers away from Atera, on the other side of Willarv.

Siera's silhouette is the middle one among the silhouettes of the possible Priest of Earth who could help Leez.

Season 2[]

Chapter 15: The Weapon of a God[]

2-16 greetings

Siera welcomes Asha

(4) Asha Rahiro arrives at the Temple of Earth in Kalibloom, 9000 m above ground level, and the staff members are excited about her presence. Siera steps out to greet her and apologizes for the staff, explaining they seldom have visitors or go down to the city. When he learns that Asha used hoti Vayu instead of the common bhavati Kubera to get to the Temple, he is astonished, since the spell is known as the suicide spell around there as magic calculations get disrupted in Kalibloom. The crowd gets noisier after her answer, so she requests to go somewhere private while she waits for the rest of her party, who she could not take with her since she could not guarantee their survival when using Vayu spells, which means they would probably be crawling to the top.

Now inside, Siera speaks about how much he enjoys living at the Temple of Earth. He likes to contemplate the view and lose track of time. When he tells Asha that the day before, they received a visitor as important as her, she interrupts him to inquire if he knows the Golden Knight's whereabouts.

(5) Siera states if her reason for coming was the bracelet, it is pointless. The item was stolen from the temple, and is currently in possession of Lorraine Rartia, who bought it from an antique shop for two hundred gold. Siera cannot legally retrieve it because the stolen goods law has not been able to pass yet. Siera plans to wait for the law to get approved because Lorraine demands an exorbitant price of one hundred thousand gold for the bracelet, and Siera does not feel the need to immediately buy it since he would only store it anyway. He would buy it back when it is his time to retire, though, to pass it on to his successor.

2-17 Golden Knight discussion

Talking about the Golden Knight

Asha is surprised that he will not wear the Golden Knight despite it being the best item to amplify one's divine affinity. The Priest explains the bracelet only helps with maintaining the Earth Barrier which does not need to be strong because the Chaos barrier blocks all offensive transcendentals, plus the item uses a lot of vigor. When Siera first became the Priest of Earth, he used to wear the bracelet until, on one occasion, it drained all his vigor causing the earth barrier to disappear. He then took it off, which resulted in the bracelet getting stolen.

Affirming that Siera would attempt to retrieve the bracelet should the law be approved, Asha proposes a deal: he will not reclaim the Golden Knight as long as he is the Priest of Earth, law or no law, and in exchange, she will give him fifty thousand gold. Siera is confused by her proposal because if she were somehow in possession of the item, she could demand money from him. Asha tells him that a person who could just as well live without the law is wearing the bracelet, and they would not allow such a thing. Siera is shocked by this person's honesty but more so because they are wearing the bracelet.

(6) Siera accepts the convenient agreement. He warns Asha that her three-year-long disappearance has not been taken lightly among the high-ranked magicians who are against her, so she should be careful. He believes she is not a horrible person because he knows her since her childhood, but her involuntary manslaughter case is still in people's minds.

Asha suddenly inquires about the other visitor's identity, and learns that it is Claude Yui, the Priest of Death and second-ranked magician. She finds his presence odd since suras are currently surrounding his city, Rindhallow, [21] but Siera clarifies that it is no longer the case. The number has decreased since god Agni and Kasak Rajof triumphantly defended Atera from a recent sura attack. [22] He informs that Agni made his presence on the planet public. [23]

2-18 raging about the dangerous climb

Siera meets Leez

When Asha's companions Leez Haias and Yuta –a half she is sponsoring– finally arrive, Siera hastily offers them something to eat. Leez who wears the bracelet, explains that she wants to take it off since it does not belong to her, and she learned that only the Priest of Earth knows the secret to remove it. [24] Siera finds her intentions adorable, but he refuses to share the secret with her unless she becomes the next Priest of Earth.

(7) Siera offers for Asha to stay over while she waits for the Temple of Chaos to open, but she refuses. Then a staff member informs him that Claude would like a word. Siera expects he already knows what Claude will ask for and finds his obstinacy annoying. As he is about to say farewell to Asha, the staff member clarifies that Claude also wants to talk with her.

Chapter 16: Caution[]

2-23 fortunetelling

Let's play

(3) Siera asks Claude about his encounter with Asha, since she looked upset when leaving. Claude answers that they only played cards. Siera tells Claude that no one likes when he puts on his fortune-teller act because he only predicts terrible things. Claude counters that he allows people to prepare for misfortune.

2-23 grahhh

Upset with Claude

Since Siera received multiple letters requesting Claude’s return to Rindhallow, he urges Claude to be on his way. Claude trivializes the matter, correctly predicting that all of them are from the Priestess of Darkness, Laila Hemawati. Claude then proposes that he will leave if he can see Kubera's god-level items. Siera refuses with the excuse that the security system which would be necessary to turn down in order to access the items is too complicated. Claude then draws some cards and states that Siera be should worry about the city's security, not about the items.

Chapter 20: Grudge[]

2-53 Claude still slacks off

Claude chilling in Kalibloom

(3) Siera receives a new letter from Laila Hemawati. He tries to deceive Claude by telling him that Laila said that if he does not return to the Temple of Death within a week, she will snap his neck. Claude just laughs and jokes that she says that but only ever breaks his arms and legs, and he can heal himself with Asvins magic.

2-053 Siera

What a nuisance

Laila's letter is a request for Siera to show Kubera's god items to Claude, or else Claude will stay in Kalibloom for months. She adds that if Claude does not come back soon, the demand for replacing him as the Priest of Death will increase, and Claude will be delighted about it. She desires for Claude to continue as the Priest of Death because he is the best in that type of magic. Siera realizes that Laila is correct, so he tells Claude that he will show him the items if Claude promises to go back to his temple afterward. Siera also warns Claude that he is not allowed to touch anything. Claude agrees, and Siera leaves to turn off the security system.

Chapter 21: Frozen Tears[]

2-61 Siera and Claude

Dragging Claude outside

(4) A grumpy Siera leads Claude to the dungeon where Kubera's god-level items are stored. Claude is astonished by the level of security, and Siera explains that unlike other god’s items, these need to be ready to be presented to Kubera whenever he asks for them. Suddenly, they hear an explosion from the outside. Claude volunteers to stay and take a look at the items while Siera goes investigate, but Siera ignores him and drags him out with him.

2-061 Ice mountains

Ice mountains

Once outside, they see ice mountains all around Kalibloom. Recognizing danger, Claude advises Siera to go to the barrier stone room and take the Priest candidates with him. Claude no longer feels the need to immediately see the items, and he claims to have another urgent matter to attend to, but when Claude looks around for Yuta, who was supposed to be with him, but cannot find him anywhere.

Chapter 23: The Good[]

(1) The ice mountains were the transcendental of a nastika attacking the city. [25] A big part of Kalibloom was destroyed during the attack and Kubera’s godly items got stolen. Fighter and magicians fought to immobilize the Gandharva halfs who turned violent because they were under emotional resonance".[26] God Agni defended the city against the nastika, [27] and many magicians, Lutz Sairofe among them, arrived to aid the city. [28] Kasak Rajof arrived when the attack was over. [29]

2-081 Be positive

Look on the bright side

Siera is angry at Claude because he had disappeared during the battle, and he also blames him for the stolen items, since the defense mechanisms were down due to Claude’s insistence on seeing them. Claude, however, looks on the bright side: the suras did not have to threaten with wrecking the city until they receive the items. He also jokes that the items were only gathering dust, so it is not an important loss. Siera gets furious with him and hits him with Hoti Kubera.

2-082 Breathe

Breathing

(2) The turrets of the Temple of Earth suddenly start firing. Siera recognizes that Kasak is to blame because the half keeps ignoring his advice of not taking sura form within the turrets' range. The Priest requests that someone else deactivate them for him because they are making him feel ill and tired. Lutz agrees to do it, and he also helps Siera breathe to recover his vigor faster. This exercise does not help Siera relax, and it has the opposite effect when he learns that Lutz does not need to bother with it because he possesses more than enough vigor.

(4) Asha Rahiro has been sponsoring the rakshasa Yuta as a half to enter Kalibloom, and days later after the sura attack, his true nature was revealed to the citizens. [30] Asha and her companions campaign for Yuta to be allowed to enter the city, asserting that he is friendly towards humans, and he stood on the human side during the sura attack, he also will continue to protect them from worse suras than him. God Agni supports Yuta if the city's priest grants the permission. Siera is reluctant as there are many citizens who hate suras.

Chapter 24: Taboo[]

2-94 Lutz

Talking about Asha

(6) Siera works on paperwork and Lutz Sairofe and Claude Yui are keeping him company. Suddenly, Lutz brings up the topic of Asha Rahiro’s accidental manslaughter case. He heard that Riche Seiran is digging up the case ever since Asha revealed she can use hoti Visnu by resurrecting Teo Rakan, who died in the earlier attack. [31] He believes that Riche might have new overwhelming evidence to allow Saha On to re-open the case. Siera states that he voted in Asha’s favor in her N12 trial, but the fact that Asha can use resurrection magic bothers him. Siera believes Asha has the support of the majority of the high-ranking magicians as of yet, however, that may easily change depending on what new evidence will be presented.

(7)Siera reads official letters about incidents that happened the night of the sura attack such as sightings of the suras and the murder of a Gandharva half. Siera then expresses his disappointment with the magicians' lack of initiative to handle the current crisis to Lutz. Siera fears that the independence the human race gained after the Cataclysm is getting lost after Agni revealed himself. [23] They are returning to the times in which they relied on the gods to lead them. Lutz finds it a bit shocking to hear a priest talk like this, and more so since Agni’s help was vital for defending Kalibloom. [27]

The fact that the suras stole Kubera's god-level items bothers Siera, and he is annoyed that magicians are focusing on irrelevant matters, such as Asha's accidental manslaughter case. Lutz agrees with him, and states that Asha in an asset that humanity cannot afford to lose, so they have to overlook her sordid past.

You are saying... ability over morality

– Siera about turning a blind eye on Asha's murders [32]

Chapter 25: That Which Cannot be Grasped or Held[]

2-96 Claude lounges as Siera works

A hard worker priest and a lazy priest

(1) Siera is with Claude Yui and Kasak Rajof, whom he is sponsoring since his arrival in Kalibloom. Siera gets upset at Claude for bragging about his incompetence as a priest. Suddenly, a staff member brings Siera a letter from Laila Hemawati, in which she requests support for Rindhallow.

(2) Laila communicates that there is a strange lightning in the Aurora forest outside the city. [33] The team sent to investigate was attacked by superior suras from different clans. She believes that suras might be targeting her city. In response, Siera sends Kasak and all magicians available to aid Rindhallow. Claude is exclusively being transported in a silent prison. He implores Siera to let him stay, but Siera refuses and adds that Laila will break Claude's legs and tied him to the barrier stone.

2-97 Kasak and Siera

Sending Kasak off

Siera is concerned that Kasak will no longer be around to keep an eye on Yuta, who has received permission to be in the city by Teo Rakan after her resurrection. [34]As a solution, Lutz proposes that Asha and Yuta should go too. Siera suspects this is a tactic to give Asha an excuse to avoid the hearing that seeks to re-open her case of accidental manslaughter. Asha is unsure if Yuta will accept, but she intends to ask him.

(3) Suddenly, Yuta arrives to talk with Kasak. Since they communicate in sura speech, Siera cannot understand their conversation and wonders if Yuta came because he wants to go to Rindhallow. Asha then invites Yuta to go to Rindhallow, promising to take Leez along, but he leaves without an answer.

Chapter 27: Last Resort[]

2-108 Siera

Chatting with Lutz

(2) Siera is surprised to bump into Lutz Sairofe in the Temple of Earth because he thought Lutz had gone down to the city. Lutz wonders whether to return to Eloth or attend Asha Rahiro's trial in Aeroplateau. Siera advises him to return to his city as he must have a lot of work to do and priests usually do not attend such meetings anyway. But should he decide to leave for Aeroplateau, the mail delivery ship leaves the next day.

Chapter 30: Falling Petals[]

2-129 elusive Claude

Teo reading Claude's note

(3) Claude Yui returned to Kalibloom shortly after he left with Kasak Rajof to warn that Yuta might actually desire to eat Leez. [35] Claude came too late and Yuta left the city after realizing he had eaten part of Leez's face.[36]

(3) Siera has been looking for Claude Yui all over Kalibloom with no luck, and there is no evidence of Claude leaving either. Siera lastly goes to see Teo Rakan in the Fighters Guild to ask her if she has seen Claude. To her knowledge, he has not been there. She speculates that maybe Claude left without passing through a checkpoint as he often does in Rindhallow. She suddenly spots a note Claude left for her, within which he offers some suggestions for her and asks her to tell Siera that he left.

Season 3[]

Chapter 38: Devastation[]

3-023 hush all of you

The turrets are not working

(4) A Taraka clan portal has opened above Kalibloom and Taraka clan suras are swarming towards the city. Although Siera is holding the barrier stone in the Temple of Earth, confusion arises as the turrets are inexplicably unresponsive towards the attacking Taraka suras. Siera believes his vigor is not the cause of the problem. Suddenly, Chandra arrives to replace him in maintaining the barrier.

Chapter 40: Twisted Bird[]

3-034 Terrified Siera

Terrified Sierra

(1) Siera gets informed that all fighters have safely returned into the barrier and that there is no reason for the turrets not to function properly.

Laila arrives and hastily asks Siera about Agni's whereabouts. Siera responds that Agni is in the barrier stone room talking with the half that Chandra recently put in a jail that prevents surafication. Laila makes a rational conclusion based on all the information Siera gave her and surmises that the half must be the nastika that attack the city 7 years ago. Siera appears to be terrified by her idea.

(3) From a balcony in the Earth Temple, a crowd observes the continuing fight. They worry about the Taraka portal growing bigger. Someone calls out that they can remain calm because the Gods are there to protect them. Abruptly, Siera questions if they should trust the Gods and expresses hope that the Gods will indeed protect the humans.

That sura is our mortal enemy. It destroyed so much seven years ago... surely the gods won't let it live.

– Siera about the possibility of the gods protecting Gandharva [37]
3-038 whats up with the turrets

Stopping the now working turrets

(5) Kasak Rajof crosses through the Taraka portal, and the turrets suddenly start firing at him. Laila rushes Siera to take over the barrier stone. Siera manages to stop the turrets, although he cannot comprehend why the turrets started working again when they failed to fire at the Tarakas earlier. Chandra, who arrived with Agni, praises Siera for reacting so fast and speculates that the Taraka suras must have developed immunity to the turrets.

(6) After the attacks have subsided, Brilith and Leez, who have arrived towards the end of the battle, enter the Temple. Brilith asks Siera to call together a meeting since Agni wishes to talk to the magicians. Siera tells Laila that he feels as though there is something different about Brilith. Laila agrees with him and suggests that something may have gone wrong when she dream-tracked Brilith.

(7) Siera attends the meeting about the Taraka clan. Kasak falls asleep, which makes Siera anxious. Leez reveals Yuta’s position as the king of the Taraka clan and explains that Yuta is struggling to limit the clan and his death would lead to the worst of outcomes.

3-041 Rao is my father

Rao is your father?

(8) Siera speaks to Leez after the meeting is over. He expresses how uncomfortable some of the topics discussed in the meeting and the behavior of the silent magic magicians made him.

The priest mentions he does not use silent magic and asks Leez how she can control her vigor levels so well. Leez says someone told her she does it like her father, Rao Leez. Siera is excited to learn Rao is her father and leaves to share the news with others.

Chapter 41: Your Seven Years[]

3-48 return of the bracelet

Siera wearing the Golden Knight

(2)(3) Siera goes to see Leez and ask her to return the Golden Knight to him before Chandra returns to Kalibloom. He explains that if she does not return the bracelet, she will be involved in something unpleasant because of the bracelet’s regenerating ability. Leez reveals that she is accustomed to the pain of regeneration. She does not mind being used if she can be helpful. Siera is shocked by her answer, reminds her that the bracelet belongs to the priest of earth, and demands to have it back. (3) Later that day, Siera confirms Chandra that Siera will be the candidate for the experiment because he retrieved the bracelet.

(4)(5) On the day of chaos at midnight, Siera arrives at the Temple of Chaos for the fragment experiment. Chandra and Laila are expecting him. Chandra tells him they are waiting for one more person before they proceed with the experiment.

3-051 Siera

The experiment begins

(6) Later Agni arrives with Shess, who is introduced as a half who participated in the N19 fighters championship and possesses a transcendental that will make the experiment safer for Siera. Agni explains the objectives of the experiment to Siera one more time. He is to access the mental world of the Tarakas and attempt to subdue a major node. Once Siera is inside, he will be constantly receiving commands to act like a Taraka, and resisting these commands will be extremely painful. Should Siera fail, the Gods will stop him, and Shess is to make sure Siera has enough vigor for the regeneration transcendental of the bracelet to kick in.

3-053 Sieratala

Tarakafied Siera

(7) Siera gets taken over by a strong Taraka clan sura. The experiment is a failure. The Taraka takes sura form and has its eyes open, which forbids everyone from using most transcendentals and magic. It goes on a rampage and destroys the Temple of Chaos. Agni uses Paradisial Flare against the Taraka, but it does not work. This is a skill that deals damage based on the number of humans the sura killed. Since few rakshasas above second stage would have avoided getting into a situation in which they are ordered to kill someone, Agni and Shess deduce the Taraka must be Shakuntala, who was overly protected by Gandharva.

Chapter 42: Crossroads[]

3-053 Shakuntaraka

Shakuntaraka

(1) Shess takes sura form to fight against the Taraka. In the middle of the fight, the Taraka spots Gandharva, who Agni had brought to witness. Suddenly, what remains of Siera's body takes the shape of Shakuntala's human form and calls for her father.

(2) The Shakuntala Taraka succeeds in manipulating Gandharva, and allows him to use his transcendentals to protect her against Shess. Gandharva hits Shess with a mental transcendental, making him unable to continue fighting.

3-060 princess carry 4

Siera survived

(4) Agni arrives to stop the Shakuntala Taraka. She asks Gandharva to kill the god. Agni analyzes the current situation and sets his mind to killing Gandharva. When the Shakuntala Taraka attacks Agni, Gandharva cannot bear this action and kills it. Since the Taraka had not used up his vigor, Siera is able to regenerate due to the bracelet.

(8) Agni carries an unconscious Siera to a room in the Temple of Earth and puts him to sleep next to Shess.

Chapter 44: The Meaning of Revenge[]

3-072 I can't help him

Siera is unresponsive

(1) Siera has woken up and is reading a book in his room when Laila and Chandra come to see him. Laila informs Chandra that Siera does his usual routine, but he does not talk with anyone and keeps a blank expression all the time. Chandra cannot even see anything with insight.

(7) The priest sits on his bed with his usual blank expression while Yuta in his doll body examines him. Yuta informs Agni that he cannot help Siera as he is now.

Chapter 49: Soul[]

3-97 Leez and Siera

Siera approaches Leez

(6)(7) Siera approaches Leez as she is leaning on the wall of the Temple of Earth, claiming that he woke up just a short while ago and he wanted to see her. Suddenly, he strengthens his body with hoti kubera and attacks her with a book. Leez is unharmed, and the priest explains it is because of her new boots.

(8) Siera tells Leez that the shoes being an item Kubera used in a previous universe does not have to mean that it is a god-level item. He suggests that the previous universe may have been very different from the current one. Not only is it possible that Kubera was not a god, but the very concept of god may not have existed. He speculates that the beings with power may have merely gotten lucky at the beginning of this universe and only souls that can cross over to the next universe are "real", all others are insignificant.

Leez voices doubt if the man before her is truly Siera since she believes Siera would never laugh at those who protect this universe. Siera answers that he is on her side and needs to tell her about what he learned during the fragment experiment. Leez raises the Sword of Return towards him, questioning if the person in front of her is really the priest.

3-97 Paradisial flare traps Siera

Trapped by Paradisial flare

Agni appears behind Leez and calls out Kali for her bad imitation of Siera. The priest denies this accusation saying he is Siera himself and warns Agni that Brilith is in mortal danger. When Siera starts counting down to Brilith's death, Agni leaves the place with Leez, trapping Siera by Paradisial Flare. Siera steps through the flames as if they were nothing. He comments that Agni did not even consider he may be the real Siera and that Agni has become quite a mess and will have to try much harder if he wants to cross over to the next universe again. Siera finds a letter from Laila lying on the ground and deduces that Teo must have dropped it. He asks her to come out.

Don't go doubting one of the few people on your side.

– Siera tell Leez who doubts his identity [38]
3-099 your sword

Siera and Teo

(10) Siera takes Teo to a snowy mountainous region. He states that the life of a priest is meaningless and he would expect Teo to share his opinion on this matter. Siera locates the sword that a sura used to kill Teo seven years ago and gives it back to Teo. He reveals that it was left there by the one who killed her seven years ago since it was useless due to the required attributes for using it. He adds that she should not be surprised that there was someone who stood by watching as her neck was impaled by the sword.

Chapter 47: Words Than Never Reach You[]

3-105 Agni and Siera

Farewell

(3) Siera is walking alone when Agni calls out to him and admits he was wrong when he thought Siera was someone else. He suggests that Kali used the power of persuasion on Siera and recommends he should not listen to her. Siera echoes Agni's words saying that someone used the power of persuasion on him too.

(5) Siera notices that something got Agni's attention. Siera tells him to rather go attend to the problem because he is wasting his time here, not a single thing Agni has to say will change Siera's mind.

Siera tells Agni that it would be wise of him to not look for him anymore and gives his goodbye by advising Agni to make up his mind before it is too late.

Chapter 48: Separation[]

3-128 Siera

Siera mourning Teo

(8) Siera stands over some snowy mountains and ponders about the significance of human souls. He predicts that the soul of the one whom he knew as the Priestess of Chaos for decades will be sacrificed no matter the outcome and says goodbye to her.

Whatever end awaits this fight, I know "you" will be sacrificed. I mourn you even before it comes to be. Goodbye, my friend. Goodbye Teo.

– Siera [39]

Chapter 49: The Golden Knight 2[]

3-152 Taking out the Golden Knight

Siera taking the bracelet

(2) Siera approaches Leez Haias nearby Kalibloom, where Leez was searching for Asha Rahiro. The priest requests that Leez returns the Golden Knight to him, which she accepts without complaint. Right after Siera takes the bracelet, the ground beneath them collapses, and Leez disappears from there.

3-153 Siera and Asha

Handing the bracelet to Asha

(3) Siera speaks about how easy it was to retrieve the bracelet, voicing surprise that Leez gave it up willingly. Asha approaches, saying that Leez was always like this, never claiming the things she had as her own. Siera points out that Asha is the opposite, she would claim all the things she steals as her own, and he puts the bracelet onto Asha's left hand. Asha says that that is exactly why she would win.

(7) Siera and Asha reconvene after she stayed behind to face off suras that arrived to retrieve the Golden Knight as a replacement for the missing spear from Kubera's god-level items which they stole during their recent attack on Kalibloom. [40] [41] Asha explains that she revealed herself to the enemies to show that she is not an easy target and thus steer Sagara towards killing a Kubera. Siera asks if that is the future she saw in the records, and Asha clarifies that she no longer believes in the prophecies, since they limit thought, and will trust her own reason instead. Siera finds her resolution persuasive because it is her and states that his old self would have been impressed.

3-157 Teleport

Teleporting

Suddenly, a giant wolf sura appears looming behind them, and Asha teleports both of them far away. Siera voices surprise that she opted to save him. Asha states her intent for the two of them to compare their knowledge. Since each of them were given information by a different god, this may allow them to better determine the truth. [1] Siera finds Asha fascinating and warns her to focus on the enemy and not worry about him. Asha disregards his worries, reasoning that since neither of them got warned about Tatia, she concludes there must be nothing to fear in this situation.

3-158 Betrayal

Revealing his true intentions

(8) Asha struggles in her fight against Tatia. Siera points out that her soul getting ripped apart must hurt terribly and reveals that although he did not see a future where this sura kills her, he did see a future when another sura did so, a sura who is extremely likely to join the fight. He advises Asha to take off the bracelet, to put aside her ill-feelings for this sura, and to flee if she wishes to survive.

He admits that he wished for Asha to die here, but seeing her struggle has made him curious if there is a future where she wins. Perhaps it would not be so bad for a universe that extended its lifespan using underhanded methods to stop existing. He warns Asha that she will be dragged to the lowest depths of hell for her sins, so dying would be the worse option for her now.

3-158 Come out

Hiding

Asha stays and is killed off by Maruna, who arrived to meddle in the fight. Siera hides nearby, holding his breath.(9) Maruna powers up a transcendental and prepares to kill Asha once more, since her bracelet has almost regenerated her, when Siera comes out and offers to take off the bracelet to save her life.

Later in the woods, Asha complains to Siera for taking off the bracelet, he explains that she would have lost it either way, this way, at least, she gets to live. Siera claims that he had seen hell and offers Asha the chance to see as well, mentioning that he made the same offer to Leez, but she refused. [38] Asha ponders who could be backing Leez, since it would seem like the gods who approached her, Siera, and Laila Hemawati have all abandoned the girl. Unless Siera was supposed to be on Leez's side, but is acting against his oracle.

3-159 Siera feeding deers

Feeding deers

Siera retorts that Asha too went against her oracle by sparing Leez and wonders why she chose to do so. Out of the options she had, sparing Rao and killing Leez would have been the most beneficial scenario. A trembling Asha asks why he wants to hear something that he already knows. Siera reveals that he was unable to see the part where Asha kills Rao in the records, they only went up to when Asha stopped the engine of the transport ship and resumed after her arrival to Willarv. This prompts Asha to ask if she and Siera were approached by different gods and Siera reveals that he actually never met the god, but he concluded the records he saw belong to Kali since he accessed them during the fragment experiment. [1] Asha then wonders why the records from both Kali and Visnu omit the same information.

3-160 Into the woods

Talking about the primeval gods

(10) Siera asks Asha if she is suggesting that they both got approached by the same god. But instead, Asha proposes that Kali and Visnu may be working together. Or at the very least, that Visnu is aiding Kali. Asha has doubts about Visnu's devotion to protect this universe and about what his idea of "protection" might even be considering his lack of empathy for his creations.

To Asha, this is her last universe, and so she must work to protect it, no matter the means. She pledges to find that which threatens to destroy the universe and eliminate it. Siera states that this must be the difference that separates Asha from Leez, and that he will try to cheer for her. After seeing his oracle, he had no hope left, but perhaps Asha will be able to spark a little bit of hope after all, provided she can realize the possibility she dreams of.

3-160 Siera taking the spear

Taking the spear

Siera takes out the bracelet and hands it over to a surprised Asha. He explains that to save her life, he had to give something even more valuable than the bracelet to the suras. He then recalls how he entered the bunker of the Temple of Earth where Kubera's godly items were stored, and took the spear.

I'll be rooting for you miss Asha Rahiro. I hope the other possibility that you dream of will come to reality.
